The Official Song of the Ancient Order of Froth Blowers

THE MORE WE ARE TOGETHER

Here’s a little melody

Will make you feel O.K.

Just the thing you all should sing

To finish up the day.

When the party’s over

And you’re singing “au revoir,”

All join hands and sing it,

Just before you close the door.

   Chorus

The more we are together, together, together,

Oh! The more we are together

   The merrier we’ll be.

For your friends are my friends

And my friends are your friends,

So, the more we are together,

   The merrier we’ll be.

When you’re feeling thirsty and

The froth you wan to blow,

Sing this little anthem

Raise your voices all you know.

Never be down-hearted,

Face your troubles with a smile,

Hum this chorus heartily

And life will be worthwhile.

   Chorus

The more we are together, together, together,

Oh! The more we are together

   The merrier we’ll be.

For your friends are my friends

And my friends are your friends,

So, the more we are together,

   The merrier we’ll be.

Why not listen to the Friends of the Frothblowers having a go at singing the chorus of the anthem. This was recorded at the Lamb Inn, Lambs Conduit St, London on Saturday 11th February 2006 at a combined meeting of the Pub History Society and the F.O.F.B. Chairman: Dave Woodhead with unnecessary interruptions by Chris Murray, Steve Williams and associated enthusiasts! A truly inspirational rendition that could only be performed with numerous pints of Young’s Bitter……..
